Conclusion
Metamorphosis life cycles are big changes to an animal’s appearance, body and life. Both frogs and butterflies go through big changes from egg to adult because neither looks the same. The last stage for a frog is its adulthood. It has gone through three stages making it an incomplete metamorphosis. The frog’s appearance has changes from egg to tadpole to fully grown frog. The fourth stage of an adult butterfly’s life is also the final stage of a butterfly’s life cycle, because it will die after it lays eggs. Butterflies go through complete metamorphosis, having their appearance change the most, from egg to larva to the pupa or chrysalis and ending with adulthood. Although the frog and butterfly are two different classifications of organisms, they both undergo metamorphosis.
